About TMBC
Think Jesus and the disciples.
Texas Missionary Bible College joins serious biblical teaching to local church life, personal discipleship, practical outreach, and world missions. The goal is not merely to deliver information. It is to help students know God, think with Him through Scripture, live in the Body of Christ, and become prepared to follow wherever He leads.
Why TMBC exists
TMBC was not started because Texas needed another academic institution. It was started because believers were being saved, becoming hungry for God, and looking for preparation. Some found programs detached from local church life. Others found online teaching without fellowship, personal mentorship, practical ministry, or a clear missionary purpose.
The vision grew from a ministry pattern used in churches and mission fields around the world: where a church is planted, serious biblical training should follow.
Churches without Bible colleges can become shallow organizations. Bible colleges detached from local churches can become dead theological institutions. Put the two together, and there is the potential for revival.
A pattern received and passed on
The vision behind TMBC is rooted in a Bible-college experience that produced a lasting way of life: a revelation of grace, the Finished Work of Calvary, the Body of Christ, a missionary purpose, and a way of thinking with God through the Scriptures.
TMBC seeks to preserve and reproduce that pattern. It is not merely building a school. It is passing on a way of knowing God, living in fellowship with His Body, thinking through His Word, and going wherever He leads.

The college and the local church
Students are expected to participate in a local church and apply what they are learning through fellowship, outreach, discipleship, service, and practical ministry. Students from other churches are welcome and are encouraged to remain active and faithful in their own local assembly.
Jesus did not merely send information. He came, walked with His disciples, taught them, corrected them, sent them out, and shared life with them. That pattern strongly shapes TMBC.
Our teachers
A strong TMBC teacher does not merely possess information. He has a life in the Word, a personal relationship with God, a love for the Body of Christ, and a heart for people locally and around the world. Many teachers have served as pastors, missionaries, church planters, and Bible-college instructors.
Teachers are expected to be accessible inside and outside the classroom. They teach, answer questions, pray, fellowship, evangelize, travel, and share life with students. The aim is not merely eloquence. The aim is anointed communication that reveals who God is and what He has said.
Located in Texas, reaching beyond Texas
TMBC is located in the greater Houston area of Texas, with live teaching locations in Bryan and Magnolia and interactive Zoom access for students in other locations. The college is designed to grow relationally through live teaching, local churches, and future teaching groups without losing the personal pattern at its center.
