The first question
Is this God’s will for me?
You do not need to know exactly what God wants you to do before applying. Some students arrive convinced of a particular calling. Others simply want to know God and become grounded in His Word. Both are welcome.
Who may apply?
TMBC is not only for people who believe they are called to full-time foreign missions. The college welcomes men and women, high-school graduates and older adults, new and mature believers, working and full-time students, married and single students, local and Zoom students, and students who remain active in other local churches.
A high-school diploma or equivalent is normally expected, although exceptions may sometimes be considered. Applicants should be believers in Jesus Christ and willing to use and apply their training through involvement in a local church and evangelistic outreaches.

Full-time, part-time, credit, or audit
Students may begin with one class, study part-time, or follow a full-time course load. Part-time study simply extends the time required to complete the curriculum.
Audit students attend and receive the teaching without completing every attendance, homework, and examination requirement. Credit students accept greater accountability and progress toward completion of the program.
Why four years?
Serious preparation takes time. Jesus spent approximately three years living with, teaching, correcting, and sending His disciples day and night. In concentrated time and shared life, that represented far more than four years of ordinary classroom education.
Four years allows time for biblical depth, spiritual formation, relationships, repeated exposure to doctrine, practical ministry, correction, encouragement, and the development of lifelong study habits. Students will not leave knowing everything. They should leave with tools, foundations, and a frame of reference for the rest of their lives.
What TMBC promises
TMBC does not promise a ministry position, ordination, salary, secular career, or automatic transfer of credits to every institution. It offers serious biblical training, personal discipleship, practical opportunity, and preparation for the next step of God’s calling.
We do not promise you a job. We offer you a cross and a call.
