These answers describe TMBC’s normal structure. Semester schedules and class locations may change, so confirm current details before registering.
Is TMBC only for future pastors and missionaries?
No. TMBC is for believers who want to know God, become grounded in His Word, grow in the Body of Christ, and be prepared for whatever He calls them to do.
What if I do not know God’s will for my life?
That is a good place to begin. Come like an empty cup. You do not need to force a calling or create an identity. Learn who God is, who you are in Christ, and follow Him one step at a time.
Where are live classes held?
TMBC has live teaching locations in Bryan and Magnolia, Texas. Individual classes may also meet elsewhere depending on the semester.
Can I attend by livestream?
Yes. Out-of-town students may participate by live Zoom, ask questions, and join discussion. In-person attendance is preferred when practical because of fellowship, mentorship, outreach, and local church life.
Can I take just one class?
Yes. Students may begin with one class, study part-time, or take a full-time course load.
What is the difference between credit and audit?
Audit students attend and receive the teaching without completing every attendance, homework, and testing requirement. Credit students accept greater accountability and progress toward completion of the full program.
How much does TMBC cost?
Tuition is $20 per credit hour, plus a $25 registration fee each semester. Full-time and pay-in-full discounts are available. See full tuition details.
How long is the program?
TMBC offers a structured four-year course of study with completion pathways at the two-year, three-year, and four-year levels.
What awards will students receive?
TMBC is initiating the Texas religious non-oversight process. Final award titles will be confirmed before any current student becomes eligible to graduate.
Is TMBC accredited?
TMBC does not currently hold recognized institutional accreditation and does not promise that every outside institution will accept its credits. The college prioritizes biblical fidelity, experienced pastors and missionaries as teachers, affordable tuition, local church accountability, and serious academic standards.
Will credits transfer?
TMBC does not guarantee transfer to every institution. Coursework is closely aligned with Maryland Bible College & Seminary, and other institutions have sometimes accepted related Bible-college credit, but each receiving institution makes its own decision.
What happens outside the classroom?
Students may participate in local church life, evangelism, campus outreach, Bible studies, mission trips, practicums, fellowship, and mentorship with teachers.
